About Laura Nelson, MMSc, PA-C
Laura Nelson is a certified physician assistant (PA) with more than four years of experience. She specializes in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery cases, and general surgery.
Laura says her role is to assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures. You will often see her in the pre-operative area or the operating room, on the hospital floors and in the clinic. She loves working with the entire surgical team to educate and treat each patient.
When she’s not working, Laura enjoys walking and running the trails at Cochran Shoals, watching the Braves and Shootin’ the Hooch.
